Elster Perfection and National Fuel Celebrate 20 years of Joint Success in the development of the Polyethylene Shut-Off Valve

Cleveland, OH, May 19, 2008 Elster Perfection part of Elster Group and National Fuel, Williamsville, New York, celebrate 20 years of success as partners in the development of the Elster Perfection Polyethylene Shut-Off Valve (PSV).

In 1988, Elster Perfection and National Fuel began collaborative development of the Polyethylene Shut-off Valve.  Elster Perfection provided the laboratory testing, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of the product, while National Fuel provided project parameters, engineering expertise and led the evaluation of the field performance of the product during pilot installations.

Elster Gas North America Appoints Amber Bosma as Marketing Communications Coordinator.

Cleveland, OH, March 17, 2008 Elster Gas North America has announced that Amber Bosma has been appointed Marketing Communications Coordinator. Based in Madison, Ohio Bosma will report to Deborah Sill, Marketing Communications Manager for Elster Gas North America.

Bosma will be assisting in the marketing communication activities for Elster Gas North America including the creation and implementation of projects focusing on the promotion of Industrial/Commercial market segments and upstream markets and services.  Bosma will also be responsible for supporting field sales production of presentation, public relations and coordinating regional trade shows.more

Columbia Gas of Ohio to Install 160,000 Elster Perfection Risers

Elster Gas North America names Mark Weien as Quality Manager for the Elster Perfection Business Unit

Cleveland, OH, February 15, 2008 Elster Gas North America announces Mark Weien has been appointed Quality Manager for the business unit Elster Perfection, including H&H Engineered Molded Products.

Weien will be responsible for the quality assurance of the Elster Perfection product line. He will oversee the direction of the QA processes for our enterprise-wide business modernization effort.  Mark will be responsible for developing Best in Class QA programs consistent with Elster Perfection’s focus to further automate, drive Lean practices and efficiency in the organization.  The scope will include all functional areas internally as well as with Elster Perfections supplier base that supports the company’s focus on its markets and customersmore
